Research4Life The Research4Life programmes are meant to provide developing countries with low cost access to academic and professional peer-reviewed content online. Research4Life is the collective name for the five programmes namely:

  2. World Bank's Africa Development Indicators (ADI) ADI has the most detailed collection of data on Africa, containing over 1,600 indicators, covering 53 African countries and spanning the period 1961 to 2008. Data include social, economic, financial, natural resources, infrastructure, governance, partnership, and environmental indicators. Data are drawn from World Development Indicators, and other sources.
World Bank's Elibrary The World Bank eLibrary provides access to a growing collection of more than 6,000 ebooks, journal articles, and working papers from the world's most authoritative source on international development as they are published.
World Bank's Global Development Finance (GDF) GDF focuses on financial flows, trends in external debt, and other major financial indicators for developing countries. Includes over 200 time series indicators from 1970 to 2008, for most reporting countries.
World Bank's Global Economic Monitor (GEM) GEM provides daily updates of global economic developments, with coverage of high income as well as developing countries.
